Default ABS Amigo clears the amigo's and gives codes.

Had the 3 amigo's and got the ABS Amigo to fix them. Worked great and saved a trip to the dealer. Now in the future I can diagnose the ABS system at home and avoid some dealer costs. $198. Very simple to use, just plug it in and amigo's cleared. Go to the computer and plug it in and get the code file.

Below is the file it made of the issues.

I always suggest you read and clear the codes a couple of times to make sure what is wrong. As for the speed sensor fault, that can be caused from squeaky brakes, warped rotors warn bearing in the hub and of course the sensor it self, so check everything before you start spending money on repairs.

The 3 amigo's happened to me just after a front brake job. Hope that was it. Maybe I should have just waited for the amigo's to go away on it's own but the ABS amigo seemed like a good thing for the tool box for later anyway.

Once the 3 Amigo's come on as a fault, they do not go off on their own.

The developer said it doesn't matter how many trucks it is used on...

So mine could be the "North American" one. Get an European one (With an additional British one since they are not on the Euro and probably lots of Discos there), an Asian one, Aussie one, and some others to cover all the world's 3 amigo's.

All we need is someone with a FedEx home delivery discount...

Hey I will rent it from anyone. Or buy it if anyone wants to sell theirs. I'm about done with my head gaskets and need to clear my 3 amigos (had a bad hub and hoping that was it). I would rather throw someone here a few bucks and be able to troubleshoot instead of paying the LR dealer $60 a shot.

Just Kidding!

I think some sharing of the product is fine (and allowed by the developer) but to cut the developer out would be bad and very short sighted. This guy is more likely to work on new products if he has support from this one. And it is a great product.

I won't post anymore on this as it is going off topic.
