When you jammed it with yor foot you shorted something out.
Does your horn work?
I am thinking that you set off/shorted out the alarm. It will shut the engine down and flash the hazards and honk the horn.
Dis-connect the battery and let it sit for a hour, re-connect and see what happens.
If they still flash after that then let them flash for 15 min or so, the alarm is spposed to shut off and re-set after a short time.
After that I think that you are looking at a trip to the dealer.

The firewall is the wall between the engine and the passenger cabin. Stand in front of the truck, open the hood. On the left side of the engine on the firewall is a black rubber button
Press it.
But I do not think that is your problem anymore. If it runs then it cannot be the inerta switch, that cuts power to the fuel pump. It is a safety switch to stop the engine in a accident.
Sorry but it sounds like a trip to the dealer.
Press the switch anyway.
Some cars turn on the Hazards when in a accident. If the truck thought you were in a crashbecause you triped the inertia switch...
