Default abs help please

I have a 99 disco II, ran the abs amigo and it gave me 2 codes an 044 which I know should be the sensor. then I got a 114 shuttle valve electric failure. the guy I bought it from did the abs mod. so Im wondering if he did something wrong when I looked through his posts on here (muddmouth) it looks like he might of had some issues. anyone who can shed some light on this it would be appreciated greatly. thx

Try running it at least 3 times. I have the ABS amigo and it stores the previous user's codes for at least 2 cycles. See if those codes change to reflect your issues. That is what the person that borrowed my ABS found.

I'm not the most learned on the ABS module issue (have to do it myself though soon), but don't you still have to replace the shuttles valve switch if it leaks? From what I hear you need to use this improved unit:

Not sure, but that's what I've heard.

that kit is a start but not the answer you still have to rewire the green/yellow ground.

read the third paragraph bolded text on the falconworks page.

then read this

Ah yes, I see now. Actually it appears I'm exactly wrong (right?)...bypassing the SVS circuit board makes a new SVS switch unnecessary, unless the old one's allowing brake fluid to pour in.

I've gotta do this.

OP, from Josh's writeup you might try making sure that the ground wire from the bypass wiring is grounded tightly. He said he had a revisitation of the Amigos because his ground came loose.
