ABS inline connectors - where are they?
So yesterday I drove through a carwash, and the 3 amigos came on right away. So I thought a good plan would be to give all the inline connectors to the ABS sensors a squirt of WD40, and the connector on the ABS unit.
On the right (passenger) side, there are inline connectors : one at the rear above the suspension, one at the front inside the engine compartment.
Now for the strange part : on the drivers side, there are none. There are brackets for the connectors fixed to the body in the right places, but the ABS sensor cables run uninterrupted all the way to the engine compartment and into the bulkhead grommets.
This seems like a strange way to build the vehicle. Maybe they thought only the passenger side sensors might fail?

Well I found this TSB on another forum :

They did eliminate the inline connectors - for good reason, presumably. I had an ABS issue fixed by cleaning the inline connectors on my 2001 Jaguar (same connectors from the look of it)
