Default ABS reader

Whats the best (affordable) scan tool to get for reading my ABS system? (2004 D2) My OBD II scanner doesn't do abs unfortunately and i have the three amigos, I replaced the shuttle valve as the wires were bad on it, but I still have them the 3 amigos. Any good recommendations for a scanner? thanks .

The ABS Amigo is the way to go. It helped me diagnose chronic 3 amigos Which have been gone for over a year.

My only problem with the 3 amigo reader is that is solely propriety to the vehicle. It does look like a good tool, but for that kinda dough I'd like to be able to use it on other vehicle systems as well. Anybody had luck diagnosing the 3 amigos with a standard ABS reader.

Don't waste money on the Amigo! Like you say, that's the only thing it can do, and you need a PC read the data. Several of us on the forum have bought this code reader from Amazon; it does OBD2, ABS, and SRS for almost any vehicle you can think of, and it's only $130. I just used it to diagnose, and repair my 3 amigos.
