Default AC blowers barely working - any ideas?

Hi,

All 4 AC fans on my front dashboard are barely working (feels like a faint breeze coming out when on full strength)

the AC outlets in the footwells work fine, and I serviced the fan under passenger glovebox (cleaned out leaves etc) and it works fine.

there’s a faint whizzing sound when the AC (cold or hot) is on.

any ideas? I don’t get why the dashboard fans won’t work, whilst the footwell outlets are kicking out air fine.

appreciate any ideas - thanks!

Hi. The dash vents are supplied by the same footwell blower; you need to check some servo-gates that open and close some ducting depending on selection of the climate controls.

If you pull down the same panel that you did to clean the blower motor, there a couple more 10mm on the left had side that open up the area with the climate controls, pretty easy to see what is there and what is going on. If you look up the directions to replace the blower motor resistor, its the same process.
