is the ac compressor pulley serviceable? i have chirping at startup from, i believe, the ac pulley and and i'd like to either fix it or replace it with just a new pulley.

You can get a whole "new"compressor for $30. It's faster and probably cheaper to do it this way. If you really want to stick to just replacing the pulley, it's a Denso compressor used in about a thousand other car models so you should be able to find a replacement no problem. I've recently worked on a Cadillac compressor (turning it into onboard air comp) pretty sure it had the same clutch as my D2.

i'll be putting that on a document and saving it.

Yes, the pulley and bearings are serviceable without replacing the compressor. Comes with advantage you don't have to evacuate and recharge the system. Worth it to buy the compresssor and keep as a spare.
