Default AC leaking into interior

Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this small problem. AC leak inside cabin to the right side of the center console. If anyone knows I'd love to hear about it.Its only happened on one day (yesterday), and it was in the high 80's out. I also had the ac turned up to level 3. Thanks in advance!!

Offten this is a sign of a possible hole in your core, and it wont be long and your ac will stop working all together, if you are talking about a mist of some kind. If you are just talking about air, then you might want to check the air controlers or known as the flappers, you might have a vacume not working properly which is causing it to blow air under the duck work, or through your heater area.

Let us know.

Blue, are you referring to a water leak or refrigerant leak?

It's a water leak, and seems to not be getting any better. The thing is this vehicle is in excellent condition, under 65k miles mint interior, beautiful engine bay. I haven't the opportunity to check out if it needs any fixes anywhere though (to damn busy with work). Thanks in advance!

Blue, just remove the pedal type drains from your disco. They are located above the transmission and are a common source of leaks.

Can they be found in the interior or underneath the vehicle.

They are under the truck, one located coming thru the floor board on either side of the transmission. If you crawl under there you should see water stains or wet spots on the sides of the tranny. Get under there with a flash light, you should see them.

Thanks Mike! I looked today but I couldn't find them, I'll try this weekend when I have a flashlight.

this sounds like the same problem i had with my floorboards being wet. the drain was plugged up. and someone thankfully told me about it on here!! it looks like a little soft plastic nipple under the truck. look for the post i made"wet floor boards" and see the reply in the "general tech help" area.
