Default ACE hose by fan leading to pump keeps coming off

Hoping to get some help with a maddening problem. Under the fan, there is an inline connector with a barb where a rigid metal line for the ACE system turns to hose up to where it goes into the pump. After spending $600 to replace a leaky valve block with the UK rebuilt compression fitting version, I developed an issue within a few days. The pressure is blowing the hose off at either end of the above-mentioned section. I believe the lower fitting is now secure. But the one by the pump just keeps blowing off. I've tried every clamp I can get my hands on but it still keeps slipping over the barb and popping off. It seems like this can't be the way it was from the factory. I've spent about a hundred bucks on CHF11 hoping each time it'll hold. I really want to keep the ACE system especially since I've replaced the valve block. But this is getting ridiculous. Anyone have some advice for me? Thanks a ton in advance for any help you can lend.

Default Replace the hose?

I was leaking fluid at the lower point where the hose transitions from rubber to steel. I bought a new hose from Lucky8 and replaced the entire line from pump to that connection and have had no more problems with leakage. And I have installed the rebuilt block from
the UK. No further leak issues.

Thanks once again for the info! I'll give that a try. It definitely looks more secure than clamps. the barb just isn't that large. Not surprising that the hose heeps popping off.
