ACE Pump Pipe Split - Need Easy Fix
Hello Everyone,
The front ACE pump pipe split 2 cm. I need to fix it. This is the part: https://www.sp-4x4.com/product_p/rqb000270g.htm
I cleaned it with brake cleaner and applied allot of silicone gasket maker using a hair dryer to cure it. All 5 attempts have failed. The oil squirts out. I have called every mechanic in the area to replace the pipe. All refuse to see the vehicle.
I need to know how to replace this 1 ACE pipe myself .... without removing the tire or major engine parts. It is only this 1 pipe that is leaking. I hope I only have to replace this 1 pipe and nothing else.
The rest of the ACE system looks in great condition. Vehicle is a 1999 D2. No corrosion. No rust. For anyone wondering I've always use Synth Hydraulic fluid not ATF.

Is there an easy way to fix the ACE pipe? I read about priming the ACE pump after the job. I can do that. I just want disconnect the banjo and the opposite side without removing the tire or taking things off. I have a steering guard.
