Default Adding SLS

While at a local junkyard I found a 01 D2 with SLS and was thinking about adding it to mine. How difficult is this to do. I know I need to install all of the components and program the ECU but is there anything else? Has anyone tried adding SLS to a D2 that came without it from the factory?

There is a thread on aulro where they talk about it.

I guess there is question if the harness for the compressor and height sensors is there or not. You could probably splice it in, or buy the entire harness I guess, but it seems like a bit of work.

Considering the miles on your truck and the other more important issues you have to address I would recommend waiting till this truck dies and then get your next one with SLS...

Cheaper and easier!!

Why do you want to add SLS?

Most people here choose to remove the SLS and replace them with springs for off roading...

Is there some specific reason why you would want the SLS?

If for some reason I started towing with my Disco, I would do booster bags as opposed to full-time SlS.
