How do you add oil to the transfer case of a 1996 Disco 1?

Crawl under the back side of the t/case, look up at the back portion of the t/case, just to the left of the e-brake drum, you'll see a 1/2" plug that you fill thru.It is a little hard to get to and will take a smudge over 2 quarts of gear oil.
