I just noticed that the electrical library is for D2 model year 99-03. Mine is an 04. Does it follow the same library or do I need to be looking for another one?

That generally will not be true if both connectors removed. Only case you should see a ground in that state would be if the wire Y'd off to a ground through splice.

Always helps to have the diagrams to look at and understand how to read them.

So after looking over the diagrams for the my2003 electrical library, it seems that most of the items that are connected to fuse 2 connect to the ECM on the other side.

I assume for now it's one of the two parts that I've unplugged and not had a fuse to pop (Evap and SAI). Looking at the charts it looks like both of those connect to the EMC.

My questions are: Is that what you guys are seeing as well? And if so, what is the best way to test these wires if the ECM is located inside the car behind the glove box?

Parts or circuit short? Part could be internally shorting to ground and you check same way as previously explained.

Are both evap and sai plugs off? If so have you done them individually yet to eliminate one or the other?

Did you check for short to grounds with the plus off yet. Cam sensor is on that same circuit and should be disconnected or ECM plug removed when checking for shorts to ground. C0570 connector in fuse box should isolate the circuit on the fuse side.

Pulling C0636 at ECM would isolate the circuit on that end.

The '03 diagrams are ones used for '04.
