I saw a Disco II (online) with a metal box on the dash to the left of the pod that was full of radios and switches and power points. It was a blog somewhere. I'll find it.

I do wish there was a replacement console. Mine has been broken for a about a decade (in a bad spot; where the window switch plate resides, so it is spongy and sometimes pushes down in the hole). I've tried fixing it probably 5 times over the years, and none of the fixes last. It is in a bad spot. All of the screw hole plastic. F-in PLASTIC.

Anyway, a nice replacement one would be great but I have never found one in lots of searches, and fabrication would be difficult (but not impossible).

EDIT: Found it... not as I remembered...



Also, this guy has alot of antennas.. HAHHA I just think that's funny.

 

you can also replace your ashtray and cointray with D-1 fog light switch panel it gives you three switches per tray.
