today i was trying to change my gear shift housing , but it seems i had a hard time to take off the center consoles, plus i see all the wirings and im not trying to rip them off . took me an hour just to figure it out so i need some advice please guys thanks......

The hardest thing is your cigarette lighter wiring. Unplug it and you will have a lot more movement. (if you have a D1)

 

its 97 D1 disco mike , thats the thing because i didnt see any bolts or anything but it seems glued to something and dont want to break something
