The Discovery II is terrible for tall people. My 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman has way more legroom.

Also been looking for a solution. My issue is legroom though so I'm thinking about doing that one mod that lets you take the seat farther back. I would check an auto upholstery shop; they might have a solution either with a new seat or modifying the existing one. Good luck.

Did the extension modification, night and day leg room. I'm 6'4"...so, it was either do it or move on to something else. Putting in extension brackets took about ten minutes, after making brackets. Pretty simple. There is a topic here somewhere.

Brian.

Tall people should have to take buses and leave the driving to normal sized people

Where did you get an extension bracket? I am 6'4" as well and I am looking for more leg room. Unfortunately, my front to back motor is burned out (looking for a place to get one of those as well... any suggestions would be appreciated)... thankfully it burned out while in the furthest back position!
