Default After O2 Sensor Replacement I get Service Engine Soon

So I replaced the last O2 sensor today on my '02 Disco II. This is the front drivers side one that is a real bear to get to with any tool. Any how I ran the car in park for a few minutes and it was fine no warning lights. Then my wife takes it out to the store and the service engine soon light comes on. I know I need to get the code read but is this something that happens? The engine is actually running a lot better but who knows.

I hear one of the auto stores will read your codes for free, anyone know which one that is?

Any idea which chain store will read the codes? Not many small import shops around here have a Landrover code reader.

Dealer or Rover shop for the 3 amigo's. Any parts house should check or rent you an OBD2 scanner for your check engine light.

I just put some black electrical tape over the 3 lights. Actually I have a sneaking suspicion my bad hub has something to do with the 3 amigos but investigating them keeps getting pushed to the bottom of my to do list.

uh, yeah, that will do it.....

Where are you located? There is a new produst out that a few owners have that runs around $300 that will read and clear your codes. Mike has one, and I am sure a six pack might get you a read.

I'm in western NY, when my Disco hit 100,000 miles it started falling apart and unfortunately I'm back in school so $$ is tight. I have a Hub coming now and I'm going to give it the old college try on my own. This O2 sensor is sensor is a pain though I finally got it replaced after figuring out how to contort my tools in the space and then I get a code, just my luck these days.

I have heard that the Actron CP9125 PocketScan OBD II Code Reader works on Rovers, and it will clear codes - looks to be about $60- not too certain about the facts, might need some research
