Default aftermarket stereo no sound

so I bought a wiring harness from best buy and color coded the install based off the harness. It has power but no sound. I have a brown wire from the stereo side exposed and the two blue wires from the harness, I also have the two thick wires with plugs that look like antenna cables???. Not sure where I went wrong. I might just take it to best buy and make them figure it out. I have spent all weekend working on the 3 amigos and frankly am tired of looking at my damn car!

I had the same problem, in my case the "cellphone mute" signal was permanently muting the stereo. Try cutting that wire.

From the Electrical Library. Download it from my Signature. Not that hard to use.

Where a telephone is installed, signals are input to the head unit from the accessory power connector. When the telephone is active, a mute signal is input on a PO wire. The telephone circuit positive is input on an SO wire and the telephone circuit negative is input on a YG wire.

Code Colour
B Black
G Green
K Pink
LG Light green
N Brown
O Orange
P Purple
R Red
S Slate (Grey)
T Transparent
U Blue
W White
Y Yellow

Also cut the one on the aftermarket connector not the one on the LR Harness.
