Default Air Suspension

If anyone has any info on the sls on a Disco 11 would love to hear it,
Drivers side air spring will inflate sometimes but not to full height, will also drop to bump stop when parked you can hear the valve open as you get out, Drops when driving also but will stay up for days from time to time.
Has new air pump, height sensors and no holes or leaks in bags.
If I swap the air lines from left to right the drivers side comes up to full height and passenger side stays low.
Talked to dealer service department but they wanted to start changing parts to try and find problem, So any help would be great.

Dump it and switch to coil springs.
www.atlanticbritish.com sells the kits to do the convertion for a few hundred bucks and you will never have this problem ever again.
Then you can sell the air compressor and height sensors on e-bay and get your money back pretty easily.

Has any one ever added the air suspension to a non SLS truck? I ask because I would not mind being able to lower my Disco to get in and out. I am in a wheel chair and it is a nice jump into the seat and any thing that lowered it would be a help.

I think it would cost to much to add it to the truck and the suspension only lowers in the rear and not the front so the front of the truck will stay the same height.

A Range Rover has air suspension on all four corners so that might be worth looking into.
The P-38's are the twin to the DII.
They run from the late '90's-early 2000's.

I would switch it except the wife prefers her bells and whistles for her daily commute and we do use it to tow which the air helps for those heavy loads. When we go wheeling we prefer to use "Rhino" our 109.

Has the dealer reset the SLABS unit by chance?

I need the extra rear seats in the SE7 for Kids so I guess that I will make it work. I am going to add an extra grab handle to both A pillars. I think this will be a huge help getting in and out. I have a pair of the handles that are over the front doors for this so they will match. Other than the height of the seats I sure love the Disco!!
