Default air suspension help

the model is td5 year 2000
[hr]


, i have one other question, when the back goes down it is equal both sides now im thinking maybe its not the air bags .unless they have both starting leaking at the same time! is ther some sort of valve maybe that could be letting the air out, any input would be helpful[/align][/align]

You are probably going to need to go have some scan your ECU for a problem with the SLS. Either the pump assembly is failing allowing both sides to drop or the ECU is causing it to happen.

sorry, what is the sls? and is it only main dealers that can read the ecu
so are you saying the air could be escaping thrugh the pump? also i forgot to say i only loose the air if its parked unevenly or up hill other than that it is ok most of the time ,thanks for your reply

SLS, self leveling system, dealer or any shop that has a note book, auto logic or some compariable scanner can cgeck for problem and reset or calibrate the system.

mike , thanks for the replies , youhave been very helpful, any ideas why the back only goes down on certain surfaces though?

Could be related to the hright sensors which are located on the rear trailin arms. System may just need to be recalibrated.
