I'm guessing a series III with the front off a defender. Its a bolt on swap.

it claimed to be a 1984 defender 90 with a TD3 if i remember correctly.
he made point of say he wanted a 90 for the short wheel base.
he also claims to have lockers in it, so they must be air or electric, because the rear didnt work on the first climb, and the front didnt work crossing the gully, or maybe you have to hit the button BEFORE you get stuck.
if you look quickly at the commercials; they show also RRC blowing threw a bunch of brush and water you can read the RANGE ROVER on the hood.
so who know where the clip are really coming from.

That's what I thought, but to the best of my knowledge 90's never came with leaf springs. I believe it was a 300tdi. I noticed the other strange things as well, such as the Rangie.

Well the Jeep is only 20% Jeep, body and frame...So it appears the Rover is a bit of a morphadite....The only "real" true to the name rig is that 1st gen 4runner...Too bad its an IFS model, thats where it will break (maybe). It sucks when these shows are obviously scripted. Im still watching

Exactly...no Defender ever came with leafs. And don't let people with goofball Santana Defender look-a-likes try to convince you otherwise!

Defenders come with 32" tires stock and can fit 33" with no mods. Heck some people run 8.25r16 xzl's stock, so they claim, and those are 34". I'd say 35's aren't a stretch if you upgrade axles. Plenty of room in the back, unlike a disco.
