Default Alisport Coolant Reservoir

Installed in LS swapped rig. Perfect fit, however no overflow drain like factory setup, not sure if that will be a problem. Alisport Radiator, power steering reservoir and trans cooler next

It should have an overflow that is a pressure release mechanism, it stops hoses from blowing and reduces damage from overpressure incidents. It is possible the cap blows extra pressure out underneath but I would find out, even an LS can over heats and over pressure

There has been reports on quite a few LR forums here in England that V8 and Td5 Allisport coolant expansion tanks expanding due to excessive pressure and cracking at welds.
Too bad Carrs4x4 doesn’t fab them anymore.
