Default Almost back on the road

I had to bit the bullet and get my head gaskets/VC gaskets/spark plug/wires all done at the shop. Due to icy conditions it's been delayed but once it's home I will be putting on Toddco front/rear shafts and adapters, along with 2 inch Toddco springs with OME shocks and steering damper. I replaced the front brakes right before it went to she shop as well. It's a 04 with 90K miles and overall in nice condition, for my upcoming springs and shaft job does anyone have any input on best ways or tools to use? I've got jacks and a assortment of tools, I've printed out the RAVE pages I need for those areas as well and watched some vids on the same. I learned the hard way on my O2 sensors an front brakes that it might end up not as easy as it appeared. So if anybody has some insight I'm all ears!! Oh I'm in Houston area BTW

No great suggestions for you, but where are you in Houston. I used to live in SW Houston in Sugarland.

soak the nuts on the shock tower with pb blaster for a few days. and if you have a spring compressor or borrow one there is no need to disconnected the sway bars.

pretty straight forward. shaft needs no special tools needed . jack stands, put her nuetral so you can spin it, couple of wrenches....get new nylocks for the new shaft and done.

a stubby bottle jack to place between the axle and chassis is good for springs. I think the lr one fits, not sure on that. and as drowssap said those compression things come in handy.
good luck to you

I'm sorry, it wasn't meant mean. Yes, men are pigs, I'll admit that.

I hope you don't avoid this forum due to my post. That was not the purpose of it. For what it's worth, I've heard women talk a LOT more graphic than this. I've worked in offices before...

Yep, they're pigs. Glad you can admit to it I always hope to get some honest answers to my 'silly' questions but can see that I'll have to deal with some BS/immaturity along the way
