Almost got my headliner out... HELP!

Great idea. Usually when I do this the old ones pop right out after I have new ones in my hand. Works every time!

Besides with new ones in your hand you will see how they are held in there. I just pulled really, really hard and darn near smacked myself in the face when it gave loose.

had to put ew ones on mine too...went from visor falling out to having to put both feet on the windhhield to get the visor out ! a little trim with the utility knife and life is good !

Going to the dealer for that stuff really isn't too bad. I started with my drag link assembly, and have gone in for little stuff a lot. They end up giving you a little discount on the larger stuff, and it is usually cheaper than ordering form ATB when you figure in shipping.

Plus, you get the part right then!

going to attempt to finish the job today. i am taking a half day @ work. just have to unscrew the last 10 screws from teh cargo holders in the front and pull it out of the beams and i should be good to go.

check it out.. got it out. used a good wire brush to get the old foam off.

chalkboard! lol...



one more coat tomorrow and a re-install Saturday.

Painted is the way to go. BUT now that the headliner is down, check your drain tubes and maybe re-caulk around the plastic corners that the drain tubes connect to at the sun roof tray. Now that you know what it takes to remove the headliner i dont think you want to do it again....

thanks for the tip josh, i was looking around trying to figure out, just knew there had to be something that i could do now i had that down and out of the way. yeah it was a real pain getting it out, hope i can get it all back together! haha.
