Alternative to $159 Fog lamp replacement?
I noticed my driver side fog lamp went out the other day, and figured i'd replace both while i'm at it, but when i looked u the fog light replacement assembly, for just one, it costs 159 dollars. So i'd be looking at 318 dollars for fog lights!? If i had known how expensive they were before, i probably wouldnt have had them on all the time. Anyone know other options, hopefully, cheaper ones?

REMOVE THEM COMPLETELY.
Are you talking about the assembly that is partt of the plastic air dam?
One of mine fried real bad before I bought my Disco. The previous owner had experienced multiple electrical problems due to it shorting out, possibly from him driving thru mud puddles.
I recently removed the entire air dam and the fog lamps as well. i like it much better with the additional front ground clearance.

That sounds like a good idea, did you remove the front end caps as well? do you have pics? Cause i just got a brush guard on, and was thinking of putting fog lights on there, and could probably just use the fog light switch i have now, and take out the stock ones
I did mine several years ago, then mounted (2) 4" 110w eagle eyes on top of bumper.
wired into existing running light wires, (now unused), works great.
In some states, it's illegal to drive with off-road lites on, so check.
luck,greg
