Default Alternator bracket removal

I nhave my alternator, tensioner and pulley off as well as all the bolts I can see but my bracket is still firmly in place. Any tricks or hidden bolts? 2003 D2. TIA!

You're missing one bolt that's hard to see.

7 bolts if you include the tensioner, right?

Here is what the bracket looks like by itself.

Thanks! The recessed bolt had been missed by me.

Yep, I figured that was the one, and it's easy to do.

Just curious ... why do you need to remove the alternator bracket? I don't recall that being part of a headgasket job, but it's been 9 1/2 years since I did the headgaskets on my truck so it may be that I simply don't recall.

Doing my entire cooling system and had to pull the metal tube at the top of the head. Noticed how sludged up the engine is and wantwa to do a thorough cleaning of that area and look for leaks.

Top two bolts on the bracket do go in to the head.
