My ultra-gauge says my volts are between 13.5-14. Is that the norm? yes

I heard someone else say the 14's were the norm. In any case today when I started my truck, shortly afterwards the M and S lights came on flashing in green, along with a audio chim and the hill decent amber light came on for a second. Obviously limp mode so I went back home turned off the truck. Restrated the truck and the flashing lights were still there. Turned off then turned key to 2 position and shifted into nuetral. Then I shifted through all the gears. Turned truck back on and the lights were gone. Then I went to autozone to have the battery and alt tested again and they said "charged but bad battery". So hopfully its just the battery. Last time the rep said there was no charge but good battery with low voltage.

At the moment my voltage reading is in the low 14's.

So far Ive gone through 3 Duralast Gold batteries and one alternator in a little over a month now..... plus I replaced my battery just over a year ago so 4 batteries plus one alternator in the past 1.5 years....

Check the rave for maximum output it is possible you could have a bad regulator and have been frying these batterys.
