I need to mount an external AM/FM antenna and in a way it won't get ripped off by trees. I have a hannibal rack so I could either mount it to that or to other side of the spare tire carrier (CB is mounted on the right side). Is there an 'optimal' setup? I was going to share the CB antenna with a splitter but the signal loss seemed too high for that option. Has anyone added a motorized antenna to a D2? Looks like there's plenty of space in the fender, just need to find one that fits and do the cutting I suppose. Always found they didn't really last though.
