Default AMR2772 Radio

I have a Jap import 300tdi Disco that was fitted with the original Jap spec Pioneer AMR2772 stereo and CD changer. A wierd freq FM range is used in Japan so the radio wouln't work here in the UK. To maintain compatability with my CD stacker I purchased a US version of the AMR2772 radio on ebay which works within UK freq band (88-108MHZ). Things work well apart from one thing. The radio can only tune into radio stations with odd numbering e.g. 96.7MHz , 98.5MHz etc and won't tune into even numbered frequencies i.e 104.4MHz 91.8MHz . Is this normal on US spec radios of this type?

Default RE: AMR2772 Radio

That is right our radios will only do the odd numbers the 102.3 -102.5
I had never thought about it so I checked it out.
I think its because the steering wheel is on the left side,
makes as much sense as anything else.
LOL Mike.
