With $20K try for an LR3 or an LR4.
Never buy a D2 if you can get an LR3 or an LR4.
Reason - engine is D2 is basically fragile with inserted sleeves.
Goes to junk if overheated.

Yea I have the leather seats so I think from what I've read here that the heating elements are installed already. I've had the truck for 2 days but waiting for a dupe title so i can get plates. I wish I had someone local to me who had experience cause i have a bunch of silly issues that are making me nuts.

1>Rear sunroof not working
2>This idiot I bought it from told me the rear taillight was out so he had a mechanic fix it, now i have taillights that only 1 goes on and when you press on the brakes they alternate??? DOH
3>I brought it through a carwash and when i opened the rear hatch the back was soaked LOL..
4>Not sure what wires this moron touched when trying to fix the tailights but the instrument cluster wasnt screwed in and theres wires to the switches look like there jumped in 1000 places, is this how LR made this? It looks like a chop job
5>Of course I have the 3 amigos, well 4 cause the brake light is always on
6>Getting either key out of the locking mechanism takes me about 5-10 minutes each time
7>Front Trail package lights dont go on

From what i can tell the engine, transmission and everything mechanical seems to be above average as its always been serviced by LR or The Rover Shop in FL. So I think all the things that I'm mentioning are kinda silly and like I said I wish I had a local enthusiast cause I'm sure we could fix a bunch of these in a minute. I need to get more familiar with this which will come in time but I'd hate to bring this into a Rover shop for such silly problems and spend goes knows how much for something any Landy owner probably has fixed themselves.

Anyways if anyone in the NYC area has a good Landy mechanic or local shop that could be kind enough to pass along the info I would greatly appreciate the referral.

Thanks
Frankie

Most of those issues seem easy ones.

I am tossing a set of 01 seats in the next week or two, they have elements in them, I am near Allentown PA. If you're near, you can have them VERY CHEAP.

What color are they, I'm very interested in replacing the two front seats as my drivers is in B condition and the arm rest even worse maybe C-. Anyways if you could PM me your email I'll shoot you a message and possibly you can send me pics. Much appreciated!!!

Thanks
Frankie

$18,500 for this truck. Not sure if the diesel and manual transmission warrant the price but, looks in pretty good shape.
