Coming up with the P0444 after replacing the purge valve upon getting SES and a P0441/445. No more 441/445, just the 444 (open purge circuit) with SES coming on again the next morning after replacing it. I used the Darman 911-800 PN for it and reused the harness connector, not wanting to splice the harness. Checked the connection, tight.... Read somewhere about 4 starts? I'm thinking bad connection even though it's tight or faulty new valve. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

 

It appears the 4 start ups after installing works. Took about 10 minutes after the 4th start up for the light to go away. No P0444 code. I will let everyone know if that changes. Idles/runs better than it has over the past couple of weeks. Thanks.

 

Said I'd update this in case things changed... they did. had problems with the P0444 code coming back with the dorman, swapped back to the old purge valve and the 441 came back... returned the dorman and got a Bosch OEM purge that works well 10+ heat cycles and over 100 miles later from an online store for $65+ shipping.
