Default Another Problem!

Replaced the starter this morning as it was dragging and now it has developed a idle issue. Runs fine but every now and then just dies, Bad TPS?

Wondering if it could be this new battery? at an idle or shut off the lights dim really fast. Think I will swap out the battery, could have been the problem with the starter and the electronics. FYIn it appears to be an Energiser which was just installed by the selling party.

Go get a free battery/alternator check done at your local auto parts store then get back to us.

Hooked up my battery load tester and showed replace. Checked the charging system, it's fine. Swapped out the battery and so far so good.

If only everything was as simple as a bad battery.
I dont know how a bad battery would affect the idle, but hey, if the new battery fixed it then who cares right?

Probably something to do with the electronics when the voltage got so low. Just drove a 180 mile trip and no problems what so ever.

If the battery were not able to meet the ECU's needs then the engine management system won't treat you well.
