Default Anti-Rock?

Have any of you had any experience with the Currie Anti-Rock on a Discovery?

Currie Enterprises 4x4 Rear Ends Antirock

Their lineup is geared towards Jeeps and custom 'buggy' style rides. However, I don't see any reason you couldn't use them on a LR. The antirock equipped vehicles I've driven weren't bad on the road at all.

I'm going to dig this up to give it a bump. I had used the Currie Antirock on my 98 Jeep TJ - Loved it. Even at the lightest form, it made the Jeep so nice to drive offroad.

The point of quick disconnects is to allow better flex of the front axle in a Jeep. Obviously, same applies to the Rover. What I found when putting on the Currie, moving from the quick disconnects was a wild addition to off camber safety, with easily 80-90% of the flex of being completely disconnected. On those situations where your truck is offcamber to the side and you put a wheel up on a rock and the whole rig flails to the side swaying in the breeze if you will -- this feeling was completely gone.

Has anyone installed one of these on a Discovery? I know my new truck has no rear swaybar - and I can tell at times on the road. I'm thinking I'll do one front and rear, just curious if anyone has already tackled this on a Discovery II.

Dave

Not a disco, but should be similar:

Rear anti rock - Defender Source

You'll have more responses at discoweb, pirate4x4, or d-90.

Looks pretty cool! I still need to extend my ABS wires and brake lines before removing the sway bars though.
