I'm curious too. I can't find squat in any local stores.

I have bought everywhere. I have a D1, but you should be able to get the length and get a raplacement. This is for the whole thing, not just the refill. Once you do that, you should be able to get refills for whatever you get...

I just replaced mine w/ rain x blades from wally world. The arm wouldn't fit, so I pulled the actualrubber blade out of the new wiper and out of my stock wiper, and just replaced the rubber insert only. It took a little while, but they do fit. I don't remember the exact part #, but if you just look at how the refills slide in you can match it up. The rover blade has two smallpieces of metal that run the whole legnth of the wiper, take those out and the old bladeswill come out. Just insert the new refill with the little metal clips on the end and they'll snapright in.Just be careful not to break theoriginal wiper arm taking the old ones out. I'veused the dealer blades and they don't last long in100+ heat, the new ones leave my windscreen a lot cleaner during rain andthey're 100% silicone so hopefully they'll last a lot longer.

I have a 98 disco, bought the rain-x replacement wipers.
Mine fit right on the existing arm.
The ones I bought are for winter weather.
They work really great.
I now put them on my wife's car and my Mustang.

You can find wipers for D1's everywhere but when it comes to D2's that is another issue.
As mentioned above, Expedition Exchange and Atlantic British have the ever popular Sill blades that are designed for D2's, made from silicone they last well and perform even better.

On my DII, the first pair from the dealer didn't last long at all. My second pair came from AB, they were better than the dealer, but still only performed well for about 2-months. That's when I decided to take matters in my own hands and disassemble the wiper and find refills that would work in them. I'm very pleased with the rain x silicone. They've been on now for 4-5 months and still work like new. No streaks, and no leftover water.

My Sill blades have been on for 3 years now, thru Denvers snow and Death Valley's heat, they really hold up well.

I think the love bugs here in fl are what did it to mine. our love bug season is horrible. can't drive back and fourth to work without stopping somewhere and using an ice/snow scraper to get bugs off. If you're ever in fl and see ice scraper's in wal-mart, they sell them b/c of the love bugs!
