Post Any Northeast "Meets" or "OffRoad rides" coming up??

Hey gents,

Just wanted to know if there's any news on any "meets" or "trailrides" coming up here in the eastcoast? My buddy and I have 04' disco's and looking to see if we can get out and ride with a few others out there!

If not, Is there any Interest in possibly making our own? Any ideas?
Maybe a caravan to somewhere where we can take pics and have a BBQ.

I'm open to a day-trip destination or camping out!

I can work on a the permits if we need to reserve something.

In a couple of weeks (whenever I start getting paid) I'll be headed down to the pines in NJ. If it's far it may not be worth the trip though, it's ok wheeling but it's mostly just mud pits and trails through the woods. Although the occasional spot to crawl around and flex out are nice.

I'm new to this site also but noticed this post. I live up in MA. and I would be interested in an off road trip. I bought my 00 D2 in August of 08 but have yet to go off road with it. I did get to install a lift kit with bigger tires and would like to work on some other things for it. Please post if anyone will be planning a trip.

I'd be down for a Pines run as soon as I get a paycheck. I'm a student and haven't worked in a few months but I pretty much just need money for gas and I'd want to head down there.

I should probably be able to pull off 6/21 also, as long as the wife hasn't made plans. If you can come up with a date you can do, I'll post it up on a couple other forums and see if we can get a nice group of rovers.

The pine barrens are a 1700 square mile federally and state protected area of southern new jersey. The areas we normally go in are wharton state forest, and along the batona trail. The times ive went down there we met at the wawa on rt 70 in whiting, then ened up at the rangers station on 206.

I'm always in the same area. I usually meet some friends at a ranger station and head out from there. I just wish it wasn't an hour drive from me, I'd be lifted and on 33's and lockers by now.
