Any tips for making an 99' disco I with 112k last?
Scrowl back 4 or 5 pages in the discovery section, look for a post called Disco fluids and read an answer I posted in there listing all to do and what is needed. If you have any questions get back to me.

Running high-quality fluids and changing themfrequently will help you get some extended drivetrain life. In my opinion, if you'retrying tokeep a vehicle running well, as long as possible, the extra money you spend on fluids like Royal Purple, AMSOIL, etc. is worth it. That said, there's only so much goodfluids can do for a drivetrainthat hasn't been well-cared for by a previous owner.
With some vehicles, youmight be able toforego/ignoreregular maintenance and they'll still manage to keep going (i.e., "just drive it until something breaks"). Not so much with Land Rovers. Letting minor things go for too long will lead to major things.
On a positive note, the Disco's arefairly primitivein mechanical design.......so general repairs and maintenance are pretty rudimentary.
