Anybody ever consider fitting Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C BHP engine to a Disco 2?

Talking Anybody ever consider fitting Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C BHP engine to a Disco 2?

This would solve ALL our notorious engine problems, no more tick, increased power, torque, you name it this engine is the ****. Lets make a petition for LR to start manufacturing them and fitting them to their vehicles!

the mileage was terrible I put the 4.0 back in.

I feel like if it developed a knock it would roll your truck every time.

HAHAHAHA the info provided in the video was pretty impressive I think. Seems our Rovers could borrow some of its technology.

Nah, a bit too small for a Disco.

It's a nice bit of kit though and what engineering eh.

I installed one in my model airplane. It quickly became a model Submarine.

Yeah, I tried that engine.
MPG was terrible.
I went back to the 4.0

They say big is beautiful - but hey there's a limit to trying to shoehorn that into a Disco.
