Anybody fabricate their own front bumper?

I just used some 1.5 or 1.75" hot rolled steel for the ends and when I built the actual one I was going to use 1/4” plate for the center section. on the ends I just did pie cuts and re welded for the radius, but I was going to have some pieces mandrel bent for v.2

As far as the actual construction, I just used an angle grinder and my mig welder. You don't even need a hole saw to join the pipes if you make the cuts right.

Right on Alex, something to consider. I have one welding connection at the moment maybe he can help me out. Just have to dangle 12 pack in front of his face lol.

Heres the one I did a couple months ago, I did a very simple tube bumper with recovery points. I have the skid plate to add still, just havnt had time to work on it.
