Honestly, $20k isn't bad for that. If I had it I'd pay that in a heartbeat so long as all the work was completed well. Looks to be in good shape.

but the rear windshield washer doesn't work. all that other work and can't/won't fix something simple. makes me wonder what other little things have been neglected.

and after reading the entire sales post, it just feels too much like a FrankenRover to me. too many mods done for most indy shops to even want to look at it. not knocking FankenRovers (no insult intended, Alex) but unless you wrench on your own Rovers all the time this would be a risky purchase.

I thought a tricky ignition switch was a factory anti theft design by land rover.

It's an auction, so expect the winning bid to be much higher than $20K. My guess is it will land around $25-35K.

Thats the TFL truck. I think it was built very well. BoulderCharles on this forum is the builder.

Even though I am partial to keeping everything as much OEM as possible, this is a really cool build. 25g's or less would be a steal.....

surprised about the 3.5:1 diffs, but with the extra power, I guess it doesn't matter

Even if it's got some issues going to be far better than doing the ACE and keeping the HP trans...With the extra power and gearing of the 6L80 the stock gearing is just fine. Almost need to take the high range of the t-case to 1:1 vs the stock 1:2 depending on tire size.

I've seen the TFL video on it I think the guy stated he had over 40k into the build so 20k would not be a bad deal on something like this. Even so, 20-30k for a discovery just seems way too much to me even if it is LS swapped and such. Also I like how the ad states it comes with an owners manual like that's some big ticket item.
