Default anybody have an ABS Amigo I can borrow for a day?

I thought I'd licked my three amigos by replacing the shuttle valve and the front sensors, but not so. Driving this morning I heard a ding and there they were. Admittedly, the shuttle valve was not new (from my parts rover, but it didn't have amigos) but dang! I have a spare modulator but double dang!

Anyone have one and can mail to me? I'll mail it right back. Dusty mailed me his on the first go round so I don't want to bother him again. I live away from major population centers so when an ABS Amigo is in my hands it is the only one within about 140 miles.

I've always said I hate ABS but after sliding to a stop a couple of times and realizing that traction control doesn't work without it I have changed my mind. Plus the lights on the dash are ghetto.

As a distant second choice has anyone tried
this this
? The comments (second one) specifically says it resets ABS on Disco IIs, but doesn't say that it identifies the problem. Also found http://m.ebay.com/itm/ABS-AMIGO-Land-Rover-Discovery-II-ABS-Reset-Tool-/231662673482?nav=SEARCH.

@Charlie_V

I've got the ABS Amigo V1 - USB.

You're welcome to borrow for the cost of shipping and a 6-pack of Shiner Bock.

my shipping zip is 85018.

Is there a spot I can put my ABS amigo up for rent for other members?

I rent quite a few of my specialty Benz tools on the benz forums....do we rover-heads do the same thing?

You could ask a mod about doing a sticky in the classifieds I'm sure.

I'd love to rent one also. I figure it's time to get my amigos sorted out before the snow comes back since I've never driven the truck without them.

I love those old Benz sedans. Almost bought a 78 NA Diesel a few months back to daily drive, I sometimes regret passing it up. Nice looking car, Charlie.

Thanks. It still runs like a top, too. And built like a locomotive. My family calls it the rolling turd. Hahah. 1983 300CD.

Ha. I've just been to look at a 1979 450SL.
Dreadful state. I figure there are enough of them around that I should be able to find a decent one.

Seems like my father always had one growing up; still has one; an '89 300E with 80k miles and basically brand new inside and out.

Last year I got my own; my first Benz. A 2005 E55 AMG. Always puts a smile on my face
