Nope its fine where it is,

They also use those clips in ford excursions on the middle row seat trims

Oh yeah I guess that would work. Looks right at home on a D2 but a little out of place on the L322. I’ll give that a try.

I think when I had to replace mine, I just didn't push the pin all the way in. That way you can use needle nose pliers to pull the pin back out and save it.
