My dual beam bulbs are kind of cool. Of course mine is a D1 and uses an H4 bulb which is different than the 04 but thought you guys might find this interesting. My dual beams actually use a magnet to pull the bulb back into the base and change the beam pattern when I switch to high beam. The bulb also has a reflector that encloses it on the sides, bottom and end so that all the light is directed to the top of the reflector. The result is very bright light down on the road where it needs to be and even lifted and towing my trailer I've never had any flash their lights indicating that it's not shining right in their face.
