I have it unbolted, but how in the world do you reach up and unplug the connector? I have small hands but can't even see it.
Remove the pipes?

Thanks in advance.

I remember inlisting the help of a long skinny flat head screwdriver to unlock/disconnect the connector. The overall process was a pain but I was able to do it without removing anything else.

That took me like an hour to figure out that the actual plug has a seat. After I popped it out of the socket it came off real fast, although, I do not have it back in its seat anymore, I couldn't get it back it

Got it off, had to drop the y-pipe. Didn't want to break the connector or the wires.

New one will be in 2morrow, i hope.

Tip
Remove the 8mm x 12,5 bolt holding the forked clip to the back of the cylinder head.
GENTLY pull down the pigtail section of the sensor which should be hanging out of the flywheel case aperture.
Unplug the sensor!

Carefully plug the crank sensor socket back into the harness connector. Refit as a reverse exercise. Beware you can mis-align the pins and push them out of the harness socket if you are clumsy--Then it will never start without a very involved repair behind that cylinder head and valve cover.

Just got everything back together and it started right up. Only broke the two bolts in the y-pipe.
Why would they use 2 studs and 1 bolt instead of 3 studs? oh well.
