I installed one of these into my disco about 3 years ago. It gathers a fraction of the dust and dirt, and gives the console a new clean look. I got it at blacklistedengineering.com

Same here as zuke. I've been checking out their website for a couple of years and they always show as being sold out.

I had a friend make one out of aluminum, but it was just the lower part. It wasn’t bad, but I sold the D2 that had it. I’ve never broken the tabs on the console & when I bought a used D2 with broken ones I used the small aluminum brackets that hold down a sink to secure the switch panel as it goes behind the trim to secure it when tightened.

Try messaging the guy. I got mine back in February, it was a leftover scratch and dent one.

$100!!!!
For plastic, no thanks.
I'de wondered if anyone made a replacement, as the stock sucks to clean.
My Dad has a cnc plasma cutter.
I'll talk to him about making this part.
The program will be simple for him, as he can use the stock part from my D2 as a template.
Aluminum, stainless, or mild steel(painted).
And will try a few scrap pieces to see which thickness works best.
Stay tuned, and let me know if there's any intrest.
The main cost will be material, and it should fit in a usps flat rate shipping envelope.

IDK about you guys with the fancy trim packs but the S model has the bumpy black rubber insert there, which is not a pain to clean, just pop it out and run it through the dish washer.

Plastic? This one is metal. Flat rate envelope? I assume you're not gonna have it bent to run up for the switches?
