Default anyone got a diy on the spark plug wires?

seems like an easy job but how do you manage to tuck your hand behind the top by the firewall considering there is NO room to get the wires out

It is tricky, but you can do it with patience and a stool. Check the link above.

It is really not that hard as long as you don't have bear paws for hands. Just make sure you only do a couple at a time so you don't get the order messed up. It was a lot easier job than doing the oxygen sensors. I have a schematic I believe if you need one.

What plug wires did you get? Many people including myself have had excellent results with Magnacore 8mm wires. They hold up to the underhood heat put out by the aluminum engine better. Store brand wires will crap out on you quickly and as you have already figured out, this is a job you only want to do once! I bought mine shipped from Apex performance for $90.

ahhhhhh huuuuhhhhhh uhhhhhhhuuuuuu he said stool,,,

seriously though. its not that bad of a job.

budget about 3 hours of time for the job. do not bother trying to wear gloves like mechanix wear gloves. they will not allow your hands to fit into small places. i found even latex gloves were in the way.

but its all about doing it right the first time,,,so take your time.
