Default Anyone Have Interest in Parts?

So this weekend the front drive shaft broke and ruined the tranny. I am wondering if there is any interest in parts from any of you, or if taking it to the parts yard is the best bet.

'03 Disco II with 141,000 miles. Located in Madison, WI

Thanks

I agree, why not just repair it?

Tranny prices in yards near me are $100 - $125, U pull, and $30 core, and 30 day warranty. Since most Discos that land in yards have toasted engine, this could be a very viable approach. Many self service yards also have parts vultures that will pull stuff for a cash fee.

Damn that sucks, another one bites the dust.

If you've got a place to part it out, and the time to pull things apart, do it, you'll make WAY more than if you take it to a parts yard. 141K probably means it was on it's way out anyways.

Dibs on the headlights....

If you part it out. I would be interested in the following:

1. Coolant Reservoir
2. The t-housing for the coolant system(with bleeder screw)
3. Driver's side rear tailight.
4. Driver's side front sun shade for the sun roofs if you've got sun roofs.
5. Driver's side floor mat

Nope.

Land Rover Fuel System Parts | Hose Air Meter To Throttle Body

Land Rover Fuel System Parts | Hose Air Meter To Manifold

MIGHT work though. Looks like they just put a bigger chamber on it, to make it quieter.

I'll take your bumper, that will fit a 2000, right? Let me know if you can swing it.
