Default Anyone looking for an awesome D2?

2004 Land Rover Discovery II/Needs new engine/Mechanics dream/Hi Bid $

figured i would pass this along- could be someones new toy!

I would love to own it but its not in the cards.

It is with great pain that I am offering my 04 Disco II for sale, as-is. A recent slipped cam-shaft bearing problem has led to needing a replacement engine. This Disco has been an amazing vehicle for my family and I have built it over the last several years with the following:

SafariGard steel front winch bumper w/aluminum skid plate and swivel recovery hooks
Superwinch 9000 lb winch
Greg Davis heavy duty, steel rear bumper w/ custom recovery points and LED back-up lights
Asfir front axle/differential aluminum skid plate
Asfir aluminum transmission/transfer case skid-plate
Asfir aluminum rear fuel tank skid plate
Rovertym steel rock sliders
ARB front air locker
ARB rear air locker
ARB air compressor
OEM LR center locking differential
Ashcroft hardened front axles with upgraded CV's
Ashcroft hardened rear axles
Custom aluminum slotted-rail roof rack with tool holders
Rear ladder to access roof rack
Yaeseu FT-7800 HAM radio
LED dome lights
LED rear interior work lamps
Custom auxiliary switch panel with wiring
Sirius satellite radio
CD/Stereo with custom speakers and amps
5 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 285/75R16 with less than 3K miles
TJM Snorkel
Redarc dual battery system with dual Die-Hard platinum batteries
CTEK battery monitors
110 volt inverter

This is one of the most capable, well maintained Disco II's around. Up until it's engine problems, it was well taken care of by Roven-Techs in Scottsdale. I am going to move up to a Defender so I don't have the time for a new engine. I am looking for the highest bidder on this rig and it comes as-is. Clean title and I can even deliver to local areas in the Phoenix area. Please email me with any questions or the price you would be willing to pay. Within a week or 2 the highest price takes it.

I am not willing to part out so please don't ask.

Nice rig even if it does need an engine but he might get more for it if he did part it out. No matter how much you put into our vehicle you are the only one who can really appreciate it I think and justify the costs.

I wonder what exactly is wrong with the engine.

Mileage isn't too high either, I wonder if its something repairable. I'm about 4 hours away from there.
