Is anyone running BFG Mud Terrains or Kumho Venture M/T
Since I am buying a bunch of crap for the tune up I figured I would get some new tires as well. Does anyone know the max size I could get in the BFG MT or AT and the Kumho Venture M/T? (Stock D2) Along with that, has anyone used or known users of the kumhos? (I giggle everytime I write Kumho) I am also wanting some new brake pads, pref the ones that produce no dust... any recomendations? I was thinking about trying the green ones from AB. Thanks!
What sort of wheeling are you doing, this makes a difference when buying tires?
This is my daily driver, however I go offroad anytime I can which is why I am looking at the Kumho Road Venture Mt (low road noise, doesn't wear out to fast, and has great grip from what I have read in reviews). Right now I have michelin 255/65 straight road tires and they slip way to much in tennessee mud. I have owned the BFG Ats but I was still not happy with the grip in snow and clay (they were on a jeep cherokee however). I prob will not go with the BFG MT after reading a lot of reviews. Thanks by the way for all the help so far... and for pm-ing me back mike.
EDIT: as far as what type of off roading I do... I usually find old logging roads or fire access roads. Since I have no lift and am still mostly stock I am limited to the aggresivness.

The 245/75 is going to be about a half inch narrower than your current tires but the same height. The 265/75 will be a half inch wider and a 1/2 - 1 inch taller.
A stock Rover will do more in stock form than most people give them credit for. They'll handle a lot more aggressive stuff than just old logging roads.

You should see some of the logging roads aruond here and North Carolina! I agree that rovers do a lot stock but my tires are definantly holding me back. The 265/75 have a diameter of 31.9 inches... do you think that is too big? 245/75 are 30.7 so those will prob be the ones.
I thought the same thing about my "road" Michelins until a couple of weeks ago. There was a hill climb at the off road event I went to, and I thought for sure I was screwed for getting up it, but the Rover never missed a beat. After that, I am extremely impressed with my Michelins.
