Just caught this over on Discoweb.

Is our oil filter 3/4 -16? If so, the tech support folks says it will work.
It seems to be a simpler way to connect an oil pressure gauge than tracking down obscure adapters and Ts.

Mine should be arriving Tuesday.
I dropped by Autozone just today and picked up a guage with tubing. Electric would have been the better way to go, but I didn't see any on the shelf.
I plan on leaving the gauge in the engine compartment. I'm not keen on having pressurized oil in the people space.

the purpose of adding oil pressure gauge is to get readings at start-up, idle, warm idle, and at various conditions of engine load. everyone's readings will be different due to engine wear etc...even if you used the same setup so the key is to read for consistency during the above mentioned times.
