Anyone seen a license plate holder that will mount to say the top round bar on an ARB Bull Bar bumper? The stock mount is obviously designed for low-profile license plates and I've ripped my plate off twice already so it really needs to move up and that seems to be the only place it can fit reasonably.

 

Well true to form I looked for about 5 minutes then went and engineered a solution. It's not perfect, still need to make some kind of plate holder with rounded edges (it's clear of the fairlead but on extreme nose-down winching with the new synthetic line on the way I still want to be careful)

Just drilled a couple holes in the lower bar and moved the mount up into them. Will probably put in some rivnuts as soon as I can get an expander tool, they're out of stock at the one place in town that carries them.

 

Don't you have a roof top rack? just mount it up there. Out of the way and will act as a cool spoiler.....
